RV Thanksgiving Recipes

· Crockpot Thanksgiving Turkey-You can make use of fruit sauces in this super easy recipe.

1 unthawed frozen turkey breast

1 lb. of cranberry sauce (you can also use alternative fruit sauces)

1 sachet of dry onion soup mix


Mix all the ingredients into a crockpot in two hours on high temperature and reduce it to low for 4-5 hours. Slice the turkey breast and have it served with sauce. It can serve 6 people.


· Stuffed Crockpot Turkey

1 Tbsp. oil

1 onion, chopped

¾ cup of water

2 lb. skinless and boneless turkey breast, half

2 Tbsp. apple jelly

6-oz.pack of turkey flavor stuffing mix

Salt and pepper to taste


In a large skillet, heat the oil. Put onion and cook it in 5 minutes until it becomes light brown by stirring. Add jelly and heat it for 1 minute until golden brown appears. Use a nonstick cooking spray and pray it in a 4-6 cooker. Add the stuffing mix in the cooker, drizzle it with water and gently mix it. Sprinkle and pat the turkey with pepper and salt then place it on stuffing mix. Spread the onion mixture all over the turkey. This recipe serves 5 people.


· Simple Thanksgiving French Beans

9 oz. pack of frozen French-style green beans

4.5 oz. of drained jar sliced mushrooms

3 tbsp. of melted margarine or butter

1/4 tsp. of dried rosemary

Crushed toasted slivered almonds


Follow indicated instructions on the pack of green beans and have it drained. Add up mushrooms and let it warm. Mix rosemary and butter; sprinkle it over the bean mixture and coat it by tossing. Drizzle it with almonds.
