Basic RV Road Regulations

Basic road guidelines are implemented in every place around the world to ensure our overall safety. These are the items that would help us determine what the things that we should do are and not to do at the same time while we are travelling along the road.

Below are the basic road guidelines in United States that we need to familiarize whether you own an RV or you are renting one (for faster bookings and great discounts, visit RV Rentals):

  • When driving, you should be situated at the right side of the road.
  • Every driver are required to wear a seatbelt.
  • All road signs and scales are in Miles per Hour.
  • In Every state, there are speed limits for vehicles so every driver must be aware of every signage they are passing by.
  • Always turn right on the red traffic signal right after stopping for traffic.
  • International Driver’s License is not that important as long as one should carry a legit or valid driving license in his home country.
  • You will be fined for over speeding if you do so being reflected in tickets with speed limits indicated on it.
  • Drivers should have a blood alcohol of at least 0.8%.
  • Drivers are advised to have enough rest and sleep before hitting the road for safety travel and accident avoidance.
